Non-Newtonian fluids are a bit weird to say the least as if you leave them be they are a liquid but apply force and the liquid becomes thicker, so thick in fact that you could walk across a swimming pool full of the stuff without sinking to the bottom so long as you did it quickly enough.

Apply some to a speaker however and the stuff really comes alive in a strange stop motion kind of way.

Ever wondered what it would sound like if you sang lines from the original Star Wars Trilogy but based them on some of John Williams other movie work? Probably not but the people at Moosebutter did and in 1999 they released this. If your a Star Wars fan you’ll probably enjoy it, if you’re a movie fan you can play guess the movie theme and if your neither then you should find something else to do.

Following on from the Transformers video here’s somebody else who seems to have way too much free time on their hands along with 22,000 playing cards. Still it’s very interesting to watch it all take shape.

Why spend loads of money on expensive toys for your dog when a pack of cheap balloons will keep it just as entertained. I’d be gutted if I’d just blown that lot up though.
